Sing Around Nebraska

Nine fifth and sixth graders from Humphrey Public School attended the Sing Around Nebraska festival in Columbus on Saturday, February 16. The festival included students from area schools including Columbus, North Bend, Cross County, Lyons Decatur, Newman Grove, Lindsay Holy Family, and Humphrey Public. These students were auditioned at their local school based on their musicality and self-discipline. They spent the day practicing seven songs with a guest director. A concert ended the day with 156 participants. Overall, there were 12 sites across the state that participated in Sing Around Nebraska.
